项目概况:
Just outside the Polish capital of Warsaw, Marcin Tomaszewski of local architecture practice Reform has created a dwelling that appears to float amid its woodland setting.Planted between the trees, "izabelin house" serves as a country retreat. Integrated into a woodland setting, the idea to sustain the livelihood of the vegetation around the home became the inspiration to decorate it with mirrors which reflect the environment around it. It is made out of two configured volumes with its lower storey part done in reflective panels. The mirrored surfaces work as an extension of its forest ground and the opaque sections stacked right above. The entire design also makes up a section where sheltered decking is at ground level. This fabrication gives the conception that the house is floating, with no foundation to sit upon. Wood paneling on the exterior fortifies this notion as it harmonizes with the canopy of trees.
