Ctylife project with 360,000 square metres,one of Europe’s biggest urban redevelopment projects under construction, bringsto the urban context a new model for work, life and leisure and uniteresidence, office, shops and services together. The main goal featuresinnovation and ecological environment. The residence area is divided into two parts:Hadid residences and Libeskind residences. The Hadid Residences are designed byZaha Hadid. Comprising seven curved buildings of varying heights, from 5 to 13floors, the distinctive architectural elements include the sinuous movement ofthe curved balconies and the profile of the roofs, which provide a soft andelegant shape for all of the top-floor penthouses, complete with extensivecovered terraces. Each of these unique and original homes is different from theothers in terms of size, exposure and layout: from two-rooms to large familyapartments and twin-level penthouses. The interiors open onto extensiveterraces that can be enjoyed as authentic outdoor living spaces and thefascinating views underline the unique position of the buildings. The LibeskindResidences are designed by Daniel Libeskind, a leading exponent ofdeconstructivism in American architecture and an innovator in both architectureand urban design. Eight different buildings of between 4 and 13 floors laid outon a classic courtyard model, segmented and recomposed to create an open planthat places each building in a harmonic relationship with the others and thesurroundings. The system of balconies provides each apartment with externalliving spaces of varying depth and size. Interior spaces open on to theexterior through extensive terraces that are an authentic extension of theliving space of each home. The residences have the A level certificatefor the choice of equipment and excellent architectural skills. The materialsin external facades with good heat insulation effect reduce 80% of energyconsumption and bring down the management cost. Meanwhile the solar panelsdecrease the energy consumption of the equipments.
