Vietnamese practice MIA designstudio has created an oasis of tropical tranquility within the Naman retreat in Da Nang, Vietnam. It covered an area of 2,250 sqm. Internally and externally, the pure spa hasbeen immersed in draping plants, hanging gardens and green walls. Meanwhile,the five star facility features fifteen individual treatment rooms that mergewith the open-air gardens- evoking a serene and calm atmosphere. Each space hasbeen arranged to flow seamlessly into each other and alongside the spa, thereis a health club offering meditation and yoga classes which can be held at theoutdoor, lounge garden. A vertical, lattice wall has been used on the exteriorand for spatial partitioning and combined with the lush foliage and it createsan interesting play of light and shadow.
