the facade of casa batlló is designed in three different but harmonious levels: the facade of the lower floors uses the stone to create the curved shape reminiscent of the skeleton and the mask; the middle floors use the bright and colorful ceramic and glass to create the bubble diffusing in the ocean; while the shape of the top floor is like a giant reptile. the wavy design of the fa?ade strengthens the rhythm of the building which makes the deep and shallow changes from light in different angle and time. to refine the materials from nature and combine the beautiful imagination of dragon scales from the mosaic technique of ceramic and brick, gaudi has made the perfect combination of soft wave, shape, colors and materials which make the work highlight in near outstanding buildings
