casa milà was a controversial design at that time for the bold forms of the undulating stone facade and wrought iron decoration of the balconies and windows. architecturally it is considered an innovative work for its steel structure and curtain walls - the fa?ade is self-supporting. various geometric principles are used in the architectural design for naturalism. face to southwest to keep the long time sunshine; undulating stone fa?ade creates the visual changes of light. recycle irons as balconies with different form and shape to break the single architectural design. casa milà is designed and built a large of building sculpture.
