Barcelona Endesa Solar Pavilion
Key:Spain | 2007 | Large building

项目概况:
barcelona endesa solar pavilion, designed by the institute for advance architecture of catalonia (iaac) in, is located at the marina dock of olympic port. the building is a self-sufficient solar prototype of energy conservation building. the building structure is actually the prototype of a multi-scale construction system, aiming at building the most suitable structure with the lowest cost. a parametric facade composed by modular components, like solar brick, respond to photovoltaic gaining, solar protection, insulation, ventilation, lighting, etc. and also the fa?ade adapt geometries to the specific environmental requirements to integrate buildings by one single component or one complex. the pavilion becomes permeable and active towards south, where the interaction energy is maximized; towards north becomes opaque, closed and protective, minimizing heat transfer. higher overhangs allow more energy collection and greater protection against the incident radiation during summer. solar houses should be built with solar materials and wood. wood is used to make technology closer to the user, open and participatory. module, highly practical, is now to build a self-sufficient photovoltaic pavilion.
