zona tortona located in the southwest of milan with area of 4 square kilometers, is crossed and made by four streets of tortona, savona, forcella and stenha; it is transformed in the recent ten years to urban creative zone from the past industrial zone to the biggest outdoor exhibition site of milan design week. keep the open old factories and renew the buildings still with good basis to design studio, art gallery, art & craft shop, clothes shop, etc.; historical old buildings, winding narrow streets and stone roads feature the unique landscape of zona tortona. walk inside with changed view. design studios of different scale are hidden in buildings of one house or with 4/5 floor. the old factories, and open inner space are not only the best site for exhibitions but also the paradise of artists and designers, full of possibilities.
