located at the edge of the parco sempione and covered an area of 2000 square meters, the triennale design museum is originally designed by giovanni muzio and laterly transformed by michele de lucchi to host the international exhibition on decorative arts, industrial arts architecture, interiors, urban planning and italian modern architecture and it has become the most famous design landmark in milan. milan triennial exhibition of decorative arts & modern architecture which started and held by monza in 1923 is the origin of triennale. since 1933 triennial museum started to hold the exhibition. it consists of modern design historical area for italian designers classic works permanently displayed, feature design exhibition area, design library, coffee shop, etc. triennial museum has become the most important modern design museum and the display platform concerned by professional designers from the world during triennial exhibition. use modern materials at that time and keep the classical elements. the design museum is devoted to the curvilinear wing east considered the most appropriate to be separated from other sectors of the exhibition; the bridge with approximately 14 meters made by bamboo and glass has become the symbol of the museum.
