项目概况:
The Berliner Philharmonie designed by important exponent oforganic architecture and German architect Hans Scharoun in 1963 is a concerthall in the Kulturforum of Berlin. Home to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the building is acclaimed as Karajan’s Circus for the tent-like ceiling. “Boat” design concept is used in the whole architecture. Theround windows and the corridors in the building stand for different parts ofthe boat body. Around the center of the music podium the ranks of spectatorsrise in irregularly placed terraces convenient for the free emotional exchangebetween audience and the musicians. The plan, section and the seats are set inirregular shape which decides the changeable winding shape of the façade. In1987 Edgar Wisniewski took over the project after Scharoun’s death and designeda new indoor concert hall nearby realizing the blueprint of Scharoun plannedfor a long time and being the best work of Scharoun’s organic architecture.
