White Tree,Montpellier, France designed by the architects SOU FUJIMOTO ARCHITECTS +NICOLAS LAISNÉ ASSOCIATES + MANAL RACHDI OXO ARCHITECTS covers an area of10,000 m²；the white building sets many a crazy balcony from bottom to top, as the branches of the white tree, redefining the outdoor life of Montpellier. The mixed-use tower accommodates a housing programme, restaurant, art gallery, panoramicbar and offices.It was mainly the brainchild of an encounter between Japan and the Mediterranean, featured with the connection between inside and outside,coexistence of dense and public space, the harmony of uniqueness and functions.The hanging garden covers a half area of the house for planting plants and relaxation and storage, and also enjoying the sunshine. It mainly includes the three-bedroom houses facing to west and two-bedroom houses to the southeast,which will be designed by clients themselves.
