The project is located on a hilltop of Fuzhou, Fujian. After fully research of the local area, we decide to keep the original landform and use the local stone as the main landscape element to recall “rock”-the shape of the building.
The landscape design comes from “crack”- the feature of local stone. The landscape “cracks” from the entrance of the site, spreading until terraced landscape wall of the club on the hilltop. The landscape will lead people to the club step by step. As the growth of the crack, form a rich garden space with the stone cage sculpture as the center. On the east of the site, keep the existing wall as the landscape. Along the existing wall, set the suspended wooden footway toward the hilltop to minimum the ecological intervention. Stand on the hilltop to enjoy a unique 360-degree scenery. Along the wood footway can reach the tea room, outdoor barbecue area, and orchard picking experience area. The landscape breaks the boundary between inside and outside and shows the harmonious attitude of Camellia Group toward man and nature.
