Minmetals Changsha Kaifu District Central Park & Residential Landscape Conceptual Design

The Site with an area of 1.95 hectares, located in Kaifu district, Changsha, Hunan and in the north of Liuyang River, is a residential park. The park mainly servicing for residents nearby and as the leisure green land in the center and the green gung hidden in the mountains, provides the leisure and entertainment area.
The overall terrain is higher in the north and lower in the south and the highland of the mountains in the east and west encloses the site. The east land of the inside site is higher and form a small lake in the south. Based on “space, terrain and water” three strategies, the design reasonably divide the site into private space in the northwest and open space in the southeast; re-consider the terrain and form changeable spaces with different feelings; meanwhile to collect the rain to form water feature.
